Student Weekend 2020

Student Weekend is a time we set aside every year to be reminded that the Kingdom of God is for all ages and is inclusive. Pastors Tim Heist and Bob Seale will share as we look at three passages where Jesus invited people to follow Him and they how they responded. Our time will close with a response and a send off prayer for all involved in schools as they get ready to kick off this year in so many different ways.

When our worlds feel light years apart, how do we get together? We are speaking from Acts 15 to a critical “distance” issue that could have “sunk” the Early Church, if leaders had not advocated for “outsiders” being invited in. It’s exciting to see the solution they found

We are looking at Paul when he confronts Peter about hypocrisy. Have you ever needed correction in your life? Are there people in your life that you have given permission to say difficult things when needed in your life? Speaking truth in love and offering grace at the same time is very important. Let’s learn together!

Pastor Dary shows us that God is truly a God of adventure. If you are bored following the Lord then you are not following him very close. From the beginning of time God has always taken mankind on a journey that is unlike anything we could have thought of on our own. We must first be willing to listen to what the Holy Spirit is speaking to our hearts and then we must be willing to do what God is asking us to do. The actions of the church in Antioch teach us very well.

A Good News People

The world is reeling with so many bad news headlines - what’s needed is some good news! And that’s where Gods people - us - need to step up! Join Pastor Jeff as we explore how we can bring the news that the world is waiting for.

Outrageous Grace

Pastor Jeff looks at the amazing, outrageous grace that was shown to Saul in Antioch, as the former persecutor becomes their pastor. And we consider forgiveness - receiving it and sharing it.

We are looking at the life of Barnabas. He is known to be someone who encourages others. Did he acquire this gift naturally or is it something he worked at. Ask yourself a few questions. 1. Am I willing to give people a second chance? Barnabas was the one who welcomed (Saul who became Paul) to join the believers. 2. Am I willing to believe in someone who others have given up on? 3. How does a positive attitude make a difference in complicated situations. Let’s focus on letting God make us the best human being that we could be.

How to Change the World

Pastor Jeff takes us again to the church in Antioch, and poses the question, 'how can we change the world?' - because those early Christians in Antioch did exactly that!

It's a Brand New Day

Pastor Jeff explores the Antioch church, and how it applies to today.

Pastor Dary explores what it means to invite Jesus into the boat with us.
