In a heightened time of developing understanding within his disciples, Jesus heals a blind man in two stages. Could this be an enacted parable to instill in the disciples – and us – that seeing things clearly is a process that is wholly dependent upon him?

Pastor John leads the discussion this week as we continue our series on the Book of Mark.

Fort Collins Campus: Small Group Discussion

The book of Mark provides us with a fascinating account of a two part healing that is not mentioned in the other Gospels. What was Jesus trying to teach us through this and how might we find our true sight in Christ? Join us this weekend as we continue our journey through Mark.

God loves you right where you are – And he loves you too much to leave you there. Explore how Jesus deals with faith in development as opposed to unrepentant skepticism or merely ‘flirting with faith.’

Join us this week as we consider the challenge of understanding God and His plan for us. He wants us to see the big picture. Is that even possible? Hope to see you there!

This weekend Pastor Jeff looks at one of the most shocking episodes in Mark's gospel, which involves Jesus spitting, putting his finger into a stranger's ears and apparently calling a woman a dog! We'll consider: is Jesus still amazing and surprising to us?

In a shocking interaction, it seems that Jesus is being quite rude (if not even racist) to a woman. Pastor Brent helps us see that in this very incident Jesus is in fact breaking the back of such thinking and initiating radical inclusion - by which ALL PEOPLE are now included and welcomed into the family of God!
