How We Change: Scripture- Windsor Campus

The Word of God is full of life and transformation (perhaps as opposed to the cold standard many perceive it to be). We see this most clearly in the person of Jesus (as The Word, Jn.1:1) and the practices of his life. The question we all face (for those distant and also for believers) is: Are you open to change? For ALL: In a world where people employ all kinds of words and weapons in aggression, would you really commit that your only weapon against the enemy would be the Word of God? For the DISTANT: Would you be open to see the real thing in God’s Word/message? For the BELIEVER: Would you commit and devote YOURSELF to God’s Word (as your job, your choice – further and deeper)?

How We Change: Rest- Windsor Campus

Rest is so often elusive and in many ways it is counter-intuitive. Even so, it is a critical part of ‘Practicing the way of Jesus’. Join us as we take a deeper look at the divine command and invitation to pause and rest.

Donny Abbott leads our discussion this week on the subject of "Rest"

This week we continued our series How We Change: Practicing the Way of Jesus. Pastor Dary led us to explore rest as a spiritual practice. Are you good at rest? What does rest look like for you? Culturally we are living in a time when hustle and overdrive are celebrated. And culturally rest is really about getting 7-8 hours of sleep and having a good wind-down routine. But the rest of God is so much more than that. Our souls long to be at rest in Him. But it doesn’t just happen. So how do you practice it? I hope you have great conversations around this topic this week!
