The Power of Prayer

Prayer is also a mighty weapon.  We serve a God who longs to hear from us, who loves us, and who is ready to intercede for us.

As Christians, prayer is an integral part of our lives.  It can be a petition, a praise, or just a whisper of connection to the One who made us. Prayer is also a mighty weapon.  We serve a God who longs to hear from us, who loves us, and who is ready to intercede for us.

January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Awareness month and it has been a reminder that prayer is ALWAYS needed in the fight against human trafficking.

U COUNT needs your donations, your Marketplace shopping, your volunteer hours, but most of all we need your prayers. Prayers for us as an organization, prayers for our frontline partners, prayers for the vulnerable and hurting, prayers for survivors.  We need you to pray for our local law enforcement and other social agencies who encounter trafficked individuals in our community.  Pray that human trafficking would be a priority for our legislators, our politicians, and our justice system as a whole. Pray for an awakening in communities across our country about the reality of human trafficking.  Our God is powerful and no need is too small.  Thankfully, there is no need that is too big either!

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging… Come and see what the Lord has done,
the desolations he has brought on the earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth.

He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.  The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress." --Psalm 46

We thank you for your continued and consistent support, Timberline Family.  And keep praying!
