This position would support children and youth with play and crafts while grandfamilies attend the monthly support group. There is a childcare facility that is set up with many activities to keep kids busy.

The time commitment for this position is the third Thursday of every month from 11:00am to 1:00pm.

Volunteers should be passionate about children and family.  They should be willing to support children that come from a hard place.  These children often have been involved in child welfare, parents with addictions, abandonment, and trauma of different types.  These children need someone who can connect with them and make them feel safe and cared about.

Skills needed for this position include the ability to connect with children, previous work with children in other organizations, willing to be flexible with time, energetic attitude and desire to work with children and youth, and a friendly and welcoming personality.

We are seeking two volunteers, requiring a minimum of two volunteers at all times.

Volunteer must pass a background check.
