Divorce Care Leader

In this position, the leader will facilitate the Divorce Care group using materials from Divorce Care curriculum. They will maintain and facilitate confidentiality and facilitate group discussions based on teaching from DVD sessions. The leader will provide a safe space for class attendees to share experiences, receive emotional support, and provide practical tools for healing (often provided through curriculum). Also, they will oversee other group co-leaders and connect individuals with additional support services or professional help when needed such as counseling.
The time commitment is every Tuesday for 13-week program cycle from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
The volunteer for this position should be passionate about helping others on the path of recovery through the pain and sorrow of separation or divorce.
Volunteer must pass a background check.
