Men's Ministry - Mentor
Adult
A mentor should be passionate about living a healthy and productive Christian life. And be willing to share his journey with 100% transparency.
The mentor is required to go through the two month "Man in the Mirror" training program. Once completed, they will be paired with a mentee. They will be asked to communicate with the mentee weekly and meet in person a minimum of once per month. The goal is to form a long-term relationship that will have a positive impact on a young man.
The time commitment is two - three hours per month.
Skills for this position include good communication and being an even better listener. Patience and consistency are also needed.
Completion of Man in the Mirror training and a background check will be required.
