The time commitment for this position is approximately 3 -5 hours of training, then one hour per week for six months.
This position is for you if you are passionate about healing broken families, encouraging the hopeless, extending Jesus’ love to those society has rejected, one on one relationship/discipleship.
Helpful skills include empathy toward parents in crisis, desire and ability to build relationships with messy people, faith that bio parents can improve, courage to say “yes” to this role, and willingness to let God build your qualifications as you faithfully answer his call.
