Local Outreach

"'And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these."

Mark 12:30-31, NLT

Mission

We want to help you fulfill your God-given responsibility to help spread the Gospel locally, nationally, and globally.

Orphan Care Weekend

For our annual Orphan Care Weekend, we will have guest speakers at both campuses.  Our lives are a piece of fabric with threads that represent our lives as individuals, our family, our work, our recreation, and our faith. There are 463 children in our community who are in out of home care. What could our response be to show them God’s love? Our special guest speakers will help us answer this question. We hope to see you there!

About Our Partners

Bridge the Gap: Engaging Churches, Families, and the Community

Bridge the Gap is a Christian Regional Alliance dedicated to serving children and families impacted by the child welfare system. We partner with individuals, organizations, and churches in Northern Colorado to offer support, inspiration, and resources.

  • COMMUNITY LEADERS- We host monthly Regional Alliance Gatherings to connect and support leaders in the foster, adoptive, and kinship community.
  • LOOKING TO ENGAGE- Our quarterly Roundtable Conversations invite community members to join us in serving children and families, offering education, and inspiration.
  • SEEKING RESOURCES- Our Resource Map and Liaison Program helps bridge gaps in the community by connecting families with the resources they need. We believe families thrive through caring communication and supportive relationships. Our liaison program is designed to guide families in accessing and utilizing these resources effectively.

Invitation to Bridge the Gap April’s Roundtable:  April 23, 12-1pm, Timberline Church – Fort Collins, Room 211

  • Mobilize Your Workplace: Discover how businesses can offer discounts or services that support families in practical and meaningful ways
  • Activate Your Church: Learn how to start or grow a foster, adoptive, or kinship ministry that meets real needs in your congregation and community.
  • Step in Personally: Explore Ways individuals can serve through volunteering, mentorship, hosting, or becoming a foster family.

Foster Alight

We are passionate about collaborating to improve outcomes throughout foster care, but we focus especially on supporting birth parents because that's where we've noticed the biggest gaps. We do this primarily through our reParents program, a relational, one-on-one program that matches caring community volunteers with parents working to heal their families.

Business As Mission

The focus of Business As Missions (BAM) is on unreached people found in countries closed to sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This “closed” status prevents traditional missionaries from entering and staying in the country. A legitimate business is required to connect with the communities and create a platform to respond to questions about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through BAM, professionals in a multitude of industries are able to transform society and glorify God through the intrinsic power of business. It is an answer to the prayer, “May your Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven”, as people and communities are positively transformed through for-profit business activities.

Those involved with BAM at Timberline help missionary partners thrive professionally, so their businesses gain local credibility in the marketplace, and grow relationships for kingdom impact. If you are a business leader who would be interested in using your professional skills to coach a missionary in their unique business challenges, we would love to connect with you and provide more information.
