July 28 - August 1, 2024
This team will have the opportunity to partner with missionaries in our community reaching immigrants and refugees through Serve 6.8. This trip will be a local evangelism and compassion experience serving interculturally with one of the local Spanish Speaking Churches. Although the trip will be here in our "Judea" rather than in some faraway part of the earth this experience will be very comparable to an overseas trip and will show the need for cross-cultural evangelism, compassion, and partnership in our communities. This team will assist with community projects that could look like home repairs, yardwork, painting, etc. Max team size is 25. Please note although this team is local, it will be like any other team, and you will lodge all together during the entirety of the trip.
Ways to Pray for the team:
For the team as they prepare to go and build unity
For our partnering organization, Serve 6.8, and for the work they have already established
For the heart of the immigrants and refugees living in Northern Colorado

WHY SHORT-TERM TEAMS?: Team are designed to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of our missionary partners and the communities in which they serve. We believe that command of Christ to go into all the world has not changed but we are certainly aware and respect the many challenges that exist nationally and globally. We will absolutely do our best to take all the necessary precautions and work with our missionary hosts to adjust to the local guidelines but where there are needs and requests from our missionary partners and hosts, we want to provide an opportunity for those who are willing and able to go and help meet the needs.
