God's Greasy Hands-Vol. Mechanic
Group: SERVE 6.8-Volunteer Positions
We are looking for volunteers who are able to do small automotive maintenance and repair projects on their own either at home or at the home of the person needing the help. Projects are matched to the skill level so there is no need to be certified or employed as a mechanic.

Resource Center - Guest Services
Group: SERVE 6.8-Volunteer Positions
• 2 hour shifts. The shifts are Tuesday and Wednesday from 1-3pm & 3-5pm. No time commitment but we do prefer the volunteer to commit to at least once or twice a month. • Welcome guests • Check guests in • Give guests the intake form to fill out • Input guests’ information into computer program • Connect guests with whom they are to meet or with a Resource Navigator

Resource Center - Resource Navigator
Group: SERVE 6.8-Volunteer Positions
• Interact with guests one on one • Connect guests to resources in the community • Encourage and empower guests • Help to create budgets for guests that may need them • Pray with and help connect guests with a community support group Time Commitment: 2 hours at a time. Volunteers pick the shifts they would like to cover. The shifts are Tuesday and Wednesday 1-3pm & 3-5pm. There is no weekly commitment but the preference would be once a week or once every other week.

Resource Center - Facilities
Group: SERVE 6.8-Volunteer Positions
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting tables and chairs and cleaning bathrooms. Weekly shifts. Mondays and Thursdays between 1-2pm, and Tuesdays and Wednesdays anytime between 1-5pm.

Financial Care Team Member
Group: SERVE 6.8-Volunteer Positions
Thursdays 8:45am - noon, except for Holidays. The Timberline Financial Care team member will assist the Local Missions Pastor by meeting with Timberline attenders who are seeking financial assistance. Team members meet attenders in pairs and gather important information about the financial circumstances of the people they are interviewing. Team members will often coach and encourage those they are meeting with to determine next steps and whether Timberline will invest in their situation. Team members coordinate and facilitate their decisions with Local Missions staff and communicate decisions to the people they are interviews.
