SERVING WITH MISSIONS

Expect great things from God; attempt great things for God.

Short Term Missions Trip Team:

Airport Transportation Drivers

Drivers are needed to provide transportation for our teams as we send them out and as they return home. It is such a blessing for the Team Leader and the participants to know that this is one detail they don’t have to worry about. Potential drivers will need to submit a driver’s license upon application. Time Commitment – driving time to and from airport

Short Term Trip Advocate

You will work with Short-Term Trip Coordinator and Trip Leaders to create a brief profile of what each trip will look like to ensure that we have accurate information on our website and printed materials. Host tables in the mall twice per quarter for General Missions Trip Opportunities or assist Trip Leaders in reserving tables to advocate for the trips they are leading. Assist leaders in making room reservations for pre-trip information meetings.

Prayer and Care

Prayer for our Missionaries & Ambassadors

This team has the opportunity to pray for our Short Term Mission Teams and Ambassadors before they go. Each month you will receive a list of prayer requests that our missionaries and ambassadors send to us. You will also receive occasional emails about urgent needs between our monthly prayer time.

Praying for Persecuted Christians

Our Brothers and Sisters in Christ are being severely persecuted and martyred in over 50 nations around the world. Please join us in praying for them. Websites where you can learn more about this:

Open Doors

At these websites, you can voluntarily subscribe to periodic news and updates, which will keep you current about urgent prayer needs.

Welcome Child - Timberline's Orphan Ministry

A Backpack of My Own Coordinator

During National Foster Care Month in May, we give people the opportunity to support foster and adoptive families by signing up to fill a backpack for the next school year. Sign-ups are in May and July. Delivery of backpacks begins late July/early August. Over 1500 backpacks have been provided to Foster and Adoptive Families of Larimer County over the last 5 years. Oversee, communicate, and coordinate a team to lead this effort.

Foster Care Ministry Leader

Does your heart ache for the children and youth in our community who are in foster care? Do you long to not only know how to support foster families, but call others to support them in a variety of ways?

Run for Orphans Coordinator

Assist with organizing this 5K Run/Walk that enables agencies, organizations and ministries to serve at risk children and youth in our community and around the world.
